It's terrible, absolutely ridiculously terrible optics of course.
But apparently they want one of Nagelsmann/Wolf/Wagner in summer and need an interim until then. Stöger's Köln was one of the surprise successes of last season.

Seriously. They operate with the ambition of Lazio when they could and should be one of the top 7 clubs in the world. Baffling.

Kicked out of Europa League Round of Last 16 by Red Bull Salzburg, not scoring a single goal over 180 minutes.

Stöger must be some weird joke by the board. Maybe they just want the next manager to have less pressure coming in after such a clown. I mean surely they will bring in an actual coach in the summer. Frank de Boer should be ready if they want to install a good philosophy.

No, we are not. In this thread, we are, and have been, blaming the Dortmund board.
They hired Sammer as advisor this week though, so he will possibly bend the curve back upwards, if they listen to him.

First order of business, of course, upgrading on Stöger.

Terribly overrated club who got lucky with having the right players at the right time. People have been riding the hype train ever since.

When I look at the Dortmund squad it seems to me that this team should be getting much better results than it is actually getting. Big egoistic mistake letting Tuchel go. Both his replacements do not seem to be cut out to be quality coaches.

3-3 at the end
But hell, I don't want to think Inter are going to get knocked out from CL because we' ve bottled It against them on 2nd half. I don't want to do it.
