We were not willing to give more than a 1 year deal. That's why we can't sign anyone.
We already have a deal with Paul George, so we can't delete our cap now

Someone from his camp must have leaked it early before he got a chance to drop the Tribune article: https://theplayerstribune.com/gordon-hayward-decision-free-agency-nba/
and I was pissed about the Fultz trade but Tatum looks like a monster. Regardless of SL, the things he was showing last night were NBA moves. Fultz looked great too but with SF being a premium position Tatum could end up being the better pick.
Otto Porter 104 mil max from the Nets. The Wizards better match that

I have to admit I was impressed how skilled Tatum looked offensively.
He's not just another athlete who can't do *bleep* all offensively.

So Gordon Hayward was conflicted and wrestling with the decision, yet he managed to own a 2100 word column on it. Legendary deadline writer.

No way Wizards doesn't match that. Would want Nets to actually get a player to support Russell though. Their team looks so bad.

Warriors, if they weren't good enough, just added a solid role player to their team

Two actually,
Casspi and Nick Young.
And they retained Livingston and Iggy with their core.
Waiting for Melo to Houston/Rudy Gay to move.
What a time to be alive

It wasn't close this season... now they added another 2 3&D players with 40% 3pt percentage...
At least we have Summer League!

it feels unfair doesn't it.
On the other hand though, the brains behind this Warriors franchise. Dammit. Some smart people.

Yeah they're really smart. Who would have thought than Kevin Durant could improve a team like this.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Well, at least the West put together a few interesting teams to try to stop them.
I'm surprised how inactive the Spurs were though... but anyways, there are some very good moves to the west talent wise.
Thankfully the Celtics got Hayward which makes the landscape somewhat better but I really can't see them coming close to the Cavs in a series.

People want to win. And when it's obvious who's going to win already, then it's easy to get role players on bullshit contracts.

from tonight

his shots kinda funky but its quick enough with a high release so it might not matter
Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
His motion and form remind me of Kobe actually. Seems like he has a bit more arc on it though.
