But perhaps I will explain it tomorrow, tired and sleep, so translating my thought even in English sounds unreal as a point got by Benevento

I sometimes have struggles to translate my thoughts in English as well... but i think i might translate Kant's Critique of pure reason before Benevento gets their 1st point

Every year Juve fans trying to push the agenda of 'best Serie A season ever' or 'most competitivre Serie A season ever' just to make it seem as if its a hard earned win when they win. Man sit tf down and go lose another final.

Unlike the PL, Serie A did not start in the 90s

No, Rincon and i are being sincere. Not our problem if you are not part of the excitement yet.
If Juve fans were pushing the 36th title agenda you'd be calling us deluded i suppose. Now i'll get dismantled for only noticing facts

The top 5 in Serie A are pretty close. It may not be the seven sisters again, but four of the sisters are back. With Napoli replacing one of the old sisters.

We came from an energy consuming tryptich , milan napoli samp, and playing always same players because the reserves aren't so good.
I could expect we'd not have been brilliant.
Besides I still think Hellas is not worthy of relegation.
Romulo , Herteaux , Cerci and Pazzini aren't Serie B player. And they've an amazing public to help them.
I expect Verona to get saved if they sack that scrub of Pecchia.

Immobile has 14 goals and 6 assists through 11 Serie A matches + another 2 goals and 1 assist in 3 EL matches
Why is no one talking about the most in-form striker in Europe? His numbers are fantastic, the quality of his goals are great and his all around play is there.
Now that Belotti is back, this makes for an interesting competition, in which Immobile has a massive advantage to start with.

I don't know what their squad depth is like, but these games can really define our season.

Roma has good depth but a young team. That would be a tough schedule for any team though, lessened by the international break

Lessened or complicated? I guess some of their players would be going for NT duties, so there's the possibility for fatigue (if not injury).Luca wrote:Roma has good depth but a young team. That would be a tough schedule for any team though, lessened by the international break

Goulham out for the whole season
Definitely massive loss for Napoli.
The Algerian was playing a fantastic season
Been their best player after Insigne and Mertens
And his replacement (Mario Rui)is crap too...
Well, congrats to Juve for 7th Scudetto in a row

FORZA JUVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Horrible news for Napoli, sucks to be them, it's this year or never
But in the same time Juve is never spared by injuries, losing Chiellini this season would be devastating

Napoli get no sympy from Tom that's for sure.
They seemingly have the same starting XI every season almost always available meanwhile we're usually between 5 and 7 players down

GL's hipster team a là Dortmund. The excuses for Napoli seems endless I guess. First it was them not taking CL seriously now Ghoulam is Messi reincarnated for them that we are supposed to believe Napoli will fall apart without him.
Pls

Okay then, I'm using the argument that injury of Conti ruined us and with him we'd walk the league too.

You guys are something else sometimes.
If Juventus lost Alex Sandro, would we not consider it a big blow?
Ghoulam has been immense this season, of course it is a serious loss. They can still carry on and the January window is soon approaching but that's the second player they've lost for the season after Milik.
And they're still first place, with 10 wins from 11 matches

Not mad, it just seems like whenever we talk about Napoli or any Italian team that isn't Juventus being legit, everyone has a problem.
I don't even like Napoli but ya'll put me in a position that I have to defend them
That makes me upset

They should/must get a replacement IMO. Two lengthy lay-offs in such short period doesn't bode well.Luca wrote:You guys are something else sometimes.

Agree about first thing but Goulham was really fantastic this year. No doubts he represents a massive loss.
While who cared about Milik I mean... Decent at best and just a back up. Even Sarri , the king of excuses in Europe, didn't cry for him

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
Napoli have been remarkably lucky when it comes to major injuries like this. They did well in minimizing the impact of Milik's, but it'll be interesting to see if they can do that with Ghoulam without having to dip into the market.
I actually think Mario Rui's a pretty good full back. Just unlucky with tearing his ACL when at Roma and hasn't quite gotten a look in since. He was quite good in that Empoli team a couple years back so the talent is there. If his ACL holds up, this could be his chance to give Sarri something to think about.
