It's not so much that we don't need him, it's that we need an investment in the midfield more

One does not necessarily mean the other but it is an inference that can be drawn. If 65M is spent on a forward, there could be less to spend on a midfielder

But I'm sure no Juve fan would actually be against Martial being on the team

You don't count, you were even against Higuain for a spell this season

Martial can play as vice Higuain or off the left and would obviously add incredible attacking quality to our team

Plus, we know how our club works by now. IF, and only IF the Martial links are serious then someone is leaving and its probably Dybala, it'll be Dybala out, Martial + a top midfielder in

Problem for me is, i don't consider Martial any better than Dybala. Our attack personel is damn good right now, i am satisfied. And more importantly Max seems satisfied too. Would be useless to try to improve something that's already damn good. Higuain will still be relevant next season, we can wait 2019 for his replacement. Not an urgency.

Beppe/Paratici have much more important business to do this summer than juggling with expensive wingers. We absolutely need a pillar in midfield and SERGEJ is available, or JORGINHO. Those are the 2 guys we must bid heavy for.

In other words, i don't mean any diss towards Martial, i just don't expect him to join. If Dybala asks to leave (only reason why we'd sell him) then it's a whole other story.......

Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian has reportedly agreed a move to Juventus at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old Italy international has been restricted to a handful of appearances this season, making only four starts in the Premier League and Champions League combined.

Having struggled for playing time, TalkSport report that Darmian is no longer considered part of Jose Mourinho’s plans and has already agreed a move to Turin for the summer.

Jose Mourinho is planning a summer overhaul of his Manchester United squad which could see as many 10 departures and arrivals at Old Trafford, sources have told ESPN FC.

United will listen to offers for Shaw, Darmian, Blind and A. Pereira, with Smalling, Herrera, Martial and Mata also facing uncertain futures.
Paul Pogba is not expected to be sold this summer, and Mourinho is keen to keep Fellaini.
Danny Rose and Shakhtar midfielder Fred are two leading targets and Mourinho continues to be interested in Willian, but accepts that signing him from Chelsea will be difficult.
Mourinho also wants to add a winger to his attacking options, while Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane also remains on his radar.



Regarding Alderweirald (what a signing thbat would be ffs) Alderweireld’s Spurs future is in doubt, as the club are yet to agree a new contract with the Belgian after talks stalled.

His current deal contains a one-year extension option, which is scheduled to activate in the summer of 2019 and would see him contracted to 2020.

But it also features a £25million release clause that could be activated in the summer of 2019, as long as a transfer was completed at least 14 days before the closure of the window.

PSG and Barca sniffing apparently though.

I can 100% see us signing Danny fn Rose this summer though, would rather start Young until he's 40 tbh
