Coentrao: Im too tired for the WC

Pretty new to this section not sure if I should make a topic, but I just think it is so pathetic that an international player would actually ask to be left out of the WC. Its almost shameful? It should be a huge honor to play for your country, and especially in a WC, which happens only once in 4 years.

He is only 30 and every player at this level plays a hard long season. I just dont understand this excuse?

Very weird, never heard of anything like this. Might be something personal and this is just the public excuse.

Coentrao has always been different, always. he is a special guy, dont try to understand him

The locker room was invaded (yesterday i think) Sporting Lisbon players were physically hurt by fans

Exhausting can also mean he is mentally tired of football
