Absolutely. The wisest thing to always do is to go for the youngest most established player available on the market. That's why Icardi is my number one pick. He's no Ronaldo and has many limitations, but at least he scores goals which is the CF's main job.

But given how cheap Madrid has become, and if they're not planning on going after Icardi, they should at least go for a temporary solution until they find their mystery man. Cavani would be a great temporary solution for us because he would provide goals and high work rate, two things that our current CF isn't providing.

Once we have secured a CF, we should go for Hazard. He shouldn't be signed to provide goals because he's no goalscorer. But he would be a decent winger and an upgrade to Asensio. He has to be complemented with a goalscorer to get the best out of him.

Then I would look into Eriksen. His contract expires in 2020 and still hasn't renewed yet. Madrid should be closely monitoring his situation as there might be a chance of getting him.

Mbappé is unattainable for the time being. If Madrid truly wants him, they have to wait until his contract is one year shy of expiration because they have no chance in hell of forcing PSG to negotiate now that he's contractually tied to them until 2022.
