Re: Real Madrid Next manager
Very possible the best of all of them
it's clear he's not ready tho lol
btw, what your Real affine rumour media regurgitators are not telling you is that according to Bild, Nagelsmann turned Real down after a very short deliberation

Both Sky Italia & La Gazzetta dello Sport confirm that Real Madrid have approached Allegri, through Adriano Galliani who's a good friend of Allegri & Florentino Perez, but the Italian coach has rejected the proposal and prefers to stay at Juventus.

Re: Real Madrid Next manager
Jurgen Klopp would apparently be interested in taking the Real Madrid job although he accepts that Liverpool won't make it easy for the Liga giants, according to Don Balon .
The Reds boss, who is reportedly Madrid's No.1 target, has outlined the players he considers not to have a future at the Bernabeu, with Kiko Casilla, Achraf Hakimi, Jesus Vallejo, Marcos Llorente and Borja Mayoral all to be moved on.
Isco's position would also be under threat as Klopp favours a 4-3-3 system, with the German having told Florentino Perez that he would want total control of the team.

lmao Klopp playing guys like Moreno and Lovren still after three seasons but in Don Balon's imagination he's making lists of Real players to be eliminated even before his arrival

Tbh most sources that are posted here aren't worse than Don Balon, it seems like every paper out there links everyone to every club that exists which means they are bound to get some transfers on point and people remember only those that they got right so they win one way or another.

Wenger would be actually be a good appointment for a year or two
Madrid dont need a coach. They need a manager to handle their bloated ego superstars filled locker room.
Hence why i think hiring someone like Sarri would be a disastrous appointment.

Wenger is the best possible choice as far as I'm concerned, of all realistic candidates.
The rest are just a bunch of trophy-less numpties. Even a Wenger deemed past it, with a lacklustre squad still won trophy after trophy in the PL (Fa Cup) etc while people like Pochettino and Sarri continued to bottle it whenever it counted.
Put some respect on his name

Wenger would indeed be better suited for a job like Real Madrid, he’s excellent with all kinds of characters and respected in the football world. Real Madrid don’t need a coach anyway with the players they have, they need a manager who can keep the players happy and Wenger is the perfect man for that.

Re: Real Madrid Next manager
I just love how these Madrid trolls (mostly Hans ans S) keep trying to tell us who we should hire!
Perez has a rather diificult challenge. The club needs reconstruction, he doesn’t have a real sporting director (Sanchez is a contract guy, bit of accountant / lawyer) and his main futbol confidant has deserted him. He still has Butragueno, but he isn’t really known as an assessor of talent!
So there are several challenges
1. We need a new front line. The initial plan was to replace Bale, keep Benz (Zidane’s idea), but get someone to start over him, and retain Ronaldo.
Now that Zidane has gone, I believe Benzema ‘s days are numbered and with Ronaldo’s new contract threatrics, it would be best if all three are gone and replaced at same time. No longer a gradual transformation of front three! So of course there will be conversation of maybe retaining Ronaldo or even Bale, if recruitments prove difficult.
2. We also need substancial changes to bench strength. Although I personally believe all of last season’s recruitments (excluding the last minute promotions (Mayoral and Achraf)), have potential, it was a gross mistake to take on so many, since it wasn't possible to give them the playing time they needed to develop. We are now left with the situation that all of them need playing time to prove they belong and the likely outcome that all of them, or at bare mimimum, most of them need to go out on loan or sale with buy back option. Thus we need, a CB, a RB, a CF, a DM and poosibly a LB, to add to team bench strength.
3. We likely will see a portero change, either, DeGea, Allison or Kepa. That change only because of Navas age!
4. And finally of course we need a competent, experienced coach.
Added complication is the timing of world cup.
Bottom line is we likely won’t see new coach nor any sunstancial roster changes until late July / early August.

Re: Real Madrid Next manager
I respect the man for what he did with Arsenal, but I don't think he's the man for Madrid. He doesn't come with a strong winning mentality (or at least not anymore) and doesn't mind finishing trophyless.
The new manager should know that he has to win at least one major trophy every year if he wants to keep his job at Madrid. Wenger is not that type of managers.

Re: Real Madrid Next manager
DoC, i prefer to think of the recruiment (both coach and players) is best to view as a two year project! Given our position of an aging squad, and likely no concrete recruitment until pre season training / games are already underway, we can’t reasonably expect trophies next year, and certainly not a cohesive team until January.

Re: Real Madrid Next manager
This would be a short term appointment you clowns. Zidane went out at the wrong time from Madrid's perspective and all their desired options have committed to their respective clubs for now. So its a rather difficult situation to be in.
No one gives a shit about what Troopz or DT blabber on their YouTube channel or what fans in general think. Wenger at this point in his career still commands A LOT of respect from his peers. You can just tell as soon he goes into that Madrid locker room, he'll be respected by Madrid players and thats very important if you want to make things work.
This Madrid team doesnt need coaching at all. This is a seasoned team with winning mentality. I believe Wenger would fit like a glove there tbh. Better him temporarily(for a year or two) than committing your (long term) future to some trophy-less numpty if you ask me.
