Man i'm too amateur of a gamer for this sh*t. last time i played a console game was 3-4 years ago lol. now i decided to play this and every half boss kicks my ass for hours lol.

it gets better though. it's all about try and fall and learn.

Starting NG+ with Tom as casters. Really fun class.

Picked it up and put in like 10 hours this weekend.

Beat Margit after a good number of tries. Started to go through Stormveil castle but ended up pulling back to explore other stuff and get stronger once I got to the grafted spider(?). I was lvl 22 and felt a bit too weak for the castle in general.

Found tons of cool stuff running around limgrave, the mines, the first catacomb, and now second catacomb where I currently am. The boss at the lake was unexpected for a beginner area

Made a Samurai and so far it seems like a choice that makes the game harder.

She was my second last main boss. Solo’d her without spirit/mimic or OP ashes like Rivers of Blood.

Tried joining a few co-op and none of them could survive her blade dance

I parried the shit out of her in phase 1. I can survive her entire waterfowl dance with 0 damage taken too.

But that bullshit scarlet rott attack in phase 2 is disgusting.

I did it ffs. Unbelievable. Tears of blood. Must have died more times to her than any boss in history. I died while killing her too lmao but got the win.

Used bloodflame incantation on my bloodhound fang. Was shaking when she was one strike away.

Just got done with those. They didn't give me much trouble though, the Uchigatana is good to kill them. One good hit and you can lock them in a combo and kill them right away. If I missed the combo there was a 50/50 chance I would die though

Stormveil Castle: 10/10

Incredible game design. It felt impossible at so many points, unreasonably big and mazy with waaaay too many huge knights (the real POS of the castle). But then the sense of achievement as I finally connected all the dots in the layout and unlocked all the points of grace was amazing.

The castle itself is so much more difficult than Margit and Godrick.

Also I'm an idiot. First I didn't know you can sprint until I cleared it, then I also didn't realize that you could increase the number and potency of your flasks at this point. So I went through it with the starting ones (3 healing and 1 stamina). Incredible handicap ffs

128 and nah. Need to finish Azula first and then i will go to the blood palace (explored half of it and then noped out)

Think I was around the same. Didn't feel she was that hard but I did go into her after final boss and very good geared.

Dex build end game with lots of deaths prior made last bosses easy.

I think Malenia is harder for mages. She belongs in Sekiro and is kinda based on Isshin if you played Sekiro. For once dex builds had an advantage on a boss.

Had the same impression. I'd say Limgrave in general is the best area and experience in the game and you can tell they spent the most time on it.

I would say Liurnia above Limgrave.

beat it first attempt like everything else after getting hoarfrost stomp tho, the last 25% of the game for me was silly, starting up a second playthrough soon though, will experience that hell.

Most dragon fights got stale after a while though

I also thought Limgrave was the best for a while but I warmed up to Liurnia, place is insanely big, lots of dope areas too

Mohg is definitely my favourite boss. What an OST ffs. And that entrance. No wonder Malenia ran like a bitch when she faced him

Idk why but I didn't really struggle with Orphan of Kos. Beat him in my second try. I died way too many times to Laurence tho. Hated that fight

Yeah I respecd into INT to play as a caster for NG+.

Farmed all the good spells, talisman and tears. I win around 90% of my duels outside Raya as a mage. It's insane how good mages are in pvp.

Killing Rivers of Blood, Moonveil and madness spammers as mage is so satisfying.

That's amazing. Man orphan of kos made me cry. I just couldn't beat it. I was so close to summoning after like 50 tries. I watched youtube videos learning how to dodge him
