Re: Most talentless footballers ever to make it big
Vision certainly isn't something that can be instilled in training. It can be fine tuned and improved, however the greatest talents are natural, including such traits as vision. You can't teach someone when the right time to release the ball is or which option from three to take, nor can you teach them to see something that no one else on the pitch can. From training one is more likely to gain consistency, however it's not the same thing as manufacturing that talent.

We have to define talent first. For me talent of a football comprises of technique (passing, shooting, ball control, Dribbling e.t.c.) and tactical awareness. A player like park might not be great with technique but he is a good tactical player. Robinho might be a decent technical player but tactically he is inept. Busquets might not be 'complete' technically, but tactically for Barca he is perfect. So according to those laws, Emile Heskey is it for me. The guy average tactically and has as much technique as a peodophile in a school playground. He's got the first touch of a frakking rapist. All this Ronaldo vs Messi shite is getting old. They are both great players in their own right. They are independent of each other ffs.

Busquets is not complete technically? That is a first!

Re: Most talentless footballers ever to make it big
People mention Pippo as talentless?
Pippo Inzaghi has scored about 300 goals in 600 games.
Most of them the league that has the stronges defences. (Well atleast before calciopoli) He was 32 back in 2006 so obviously the majority of his goals came when italian defences were the strongest in Europe.
Just stating the obvious here..
If thats not a talent then what is?

Ok thats true... but I thought no one really has a great vision when they start football at a small age. But u can clearly see the dribbling and technical aspect at a small age even. Vision is developed when understanding the game. I mean its all about anticipating a team mates movement and the defenders movement and doing the calculations in the mind.. ability to make a pass properly is a talent though. Its more about the technique.
