Anyone been watching him in the Gold Cup? He has been ripping it up in the tournament. Has scored 5 goals in 2 games including a hat trick in the 1st match.

He has 19 goals in 25 appearances for his national team now. Astonishing.

I'm expecting even bigger things from our Chicha next season.

RM are now trying to their best to come up with an genius plan to get him to with them. Wait and see!

He will be the top scorer of the tournament for sure.

Still would rather have Welbeck start tbh, he offeres more versatility up front. Cleverley out is a massive blow.

Javier Hernandez always spoke of how he studied Pippo Inzaghi's CL performances as he has based himself on that.

I have noticed Chicha has perfected what is called "Micro-movement" or micro movimiento which is an Italian philosophy which involves the SS always constantly moving in small small steps in order to gain momentum and anticipate for the kill.

Pippo perfected this.

Heir to him indeed.

He has got pace as well, he is inzaghi on speed, but his touches and passes are piss poor tbh. He has the first touch of rapist sometimes.

Technical ability is not what is only needed, or Berbatov will be starting ahead of him every week.

Hernandez is playing great, and almost guarantees you a goal.

But I think Welbeck adds more to the team.

Welbeck is technically superior to Chicha, but for pure understanding between Chicha and Rooney + the fact we create so much chances in the box where a poacher like Chicha is so deadly + the fact Rooney drops so deep at times, it's great to have a player like Chicha always playing on off the shoulder of a defender and constantly making runs....


...just for those reasons, I pick Chicha ahead of welbeck. Welbeck is brilliant and will get a lot of games, no doubt about it.

there are nice problems to have, this is what will keep us in great form all season, competition for places, guys know they have to perform every week or lose there spot in the squad
