People were mad at me when I said if Suarez had to go then doing a straight swap for James would not be bad for us.

Also, Sneijder is not a fraud. Fantastic player actually, but he is not comparable to James in playstyle anyway so yeah their production numbers shouldn't be compared.

Ronaldo always takes the FK's on the left (that much is sure), and if my memory is serving me correctly he doesn't always take them on the right. Players like Ozil, James, and Bale have taken the responsibility of some of those.

he is in a precarious situation.

He can't start right now because to accomodate BBC, 433 is best and he cant play LCM. Isco does it way better than him, so does Kovacic.

His future is linked with Cr's obviously. If CR moves then he can start and it's now Bale-Benzema-James.

But if we sign a galactico again to replace CR, say Hazard for the sake of the argument, then it's going to be healthy competition.

Tbf he is going to be on his ones this time because the biggest star at Madrid right now is Zidane. He is going to learn to be humble the hard way i think.

Beautiful point tbh.. That's his biggest challenge, that the coach is actually a bigger star than he could ever hope to be coupled with the fact that the same coach will win the battle vs james in the media too.

If he can't humble himself and earn his spot in the team, then he'll be sold in the summer. Let's face it, he will never bench any of the bbc. The only life line he might have left is perez. Curious to see how flo reacts to his situation tho.

so Bale is out for 3 weeks. Zidane seems insistent that James is going to compete with Isco for LCM spot. that leaves Bale's spot to Jese. Next game will confirm that.

Me suspects that a little more humble pie is in store.
