Has to be Manager of the Season. Pulis won it last season after turning Palace's fortunes around and Pardew has had an even greater impact when taking over the same club in mid-season this year.

Also, remember that Pulis walked away from the Palace job just days before the season started, because he wasn't backed in the transfer market. He's looking a bit foolish now, isn't he, when Sir Alax Parduson is showcasing just what you can do with this Palace squad.

Tbh, this whole scoreline is a bad joke, it's not meaningful in any way and kind of silly.

First of all, Newcastle don't have a manager.
Yes they have Carver but everyone knows he's not staying, they have nothing to play for whatsoever so why would players give a *bleep*. Hence it's not surprising their performances would drop and not some sign the supposed greatness of Pardew is missing smh.

Then, Crystal Palace is the sort of club that revels in bouncing back via manager changes.
Was the same last season with Pulis, everyone was praising Pulis etc pp, now look at him.
To be honest it's easy to come in for Pardew at such a point, it can only go upwards, and noone expects him to play agreeable or proactive football in any way.

He can do the only thing he knows how to do, train *bleep* defense all week and then park the bus on the weekend. That's also the simple explanation for the good away record, because that sort of football is built for away games.

To conclude from that that this clown is in any way a good manager, let alone one who could do anything at a bigger club, is just plain wrong.
Guy is a reactive, one dimensional scrub, and he's lucky Palace's players haven't found out what an insolent, despicable bastard he is as a person.

Seriously though.

I mean it is good fun to troll Mole since he's such an eager victim. And I will probably do it again in a minute.

But here we have a guy who actually had a well funded, decent team full of French quality international players at his disposal, yet all he can get out of it is disjointed, clueless football that never escapes midtable mediocrity.

And then for some reason he's the happiest smiliest when his best players are sold, which can only be explained by
a) him instinctively feeling this is good for him as he has an excuse and he doesn't have to match bigger aspirations

or

b) he actually gets some cut out of the transfer sum due to some shady backroom deal with the owner

Both are plausible since he really comes across both as a lazy yet vain person, and as a guy who would betray your grandmother over her pension with some Ponzi scheme.

This is not a stretch, since he's also a guy who tells a long serving player to "find a new club" the minute he returns from chemotherapy ffs.

I took negativity in my personal life out on Sir Alan. It was unjustified and unfair, and I'm ashamed.
