Both Ibra and Tevez at their best were better than this Higuain.Definitely.

Tevez was mvp of the league for 2 straight seasons scoring 20+ goals in each of them.Higuain is yet to do that.Lets talk about who's better when the season ends but for now , I can't accept he's been better than Ibra and Tevez at their best in Serie A.

Juventus was hardly a " big team " for much of the time that Ibra spent with inter and Ac Milan .

Sarri definitely has a lot to do with their top players hitting form.

Not just top players but he's even getting the best out of fringe players like Insigne and Gabbiadini for instance.

If Napoli were playing shit football and carried by Higuain's goals , you'd have an argument here but the whole team is playing great and it's aiding Higuain's performances too.

Even the defense which was shit under Benitez has managed seven clean sheets so far.Pretty much the same back four.

Napoli's real hero thus far has been their coach.

I miss Benitez because he believed to win in Italy with fullbacks who can't defend and with no midfield ( 4-2-3-1 in Italy with 2 scrub midfielders ? Assured failure . Allan was great this year with Napoli to turn when they changed the system)
Indeed I believe Sarri has many merits, as I wrote in his thread, but the press wasn't so coherent in past with other teams who had the " guilt " to have another great difference maker as Higuain now. All like the idea to have the scudetto in Napoli.

You make it sound like the top players in the world don't always benefit from great coaching or great players around them. Tevez and Ibra alike have always benefited from playing on stacked teams with top coaches.

Higuain is simply a beast.

The hero has been Sarri, but Higuain deserves no less credit. No striker can win you games without enough support from the 10 players behind him. Sarri recognised Higuain's qualities and now is getting the best out of him.

I'm with El G on this. Suarez was Pool's best player, but they were a good team that season with other players performing great too. Sturridge comes to mind. Or Flanagan, the most beautiful boy in the world.

Well that same team + 100m more worth of talent looked like shit without Suarez so it's hard to agree with your point.

Nah. It's never that simple.

Obviously Suarez' presence, and his leaving, had a huge impact.
But he didn't carry the team singlehandedly. You could also point to Gerrard's decline as a reason for last season.
