Benz has 7 goals in 8 games this season Not to mention he has 2 goals and 1 assist in 2 starts for NT to start the season too. Other than Lewandowski, no CF is in better form than Benzema right now.

Most complete striker? He's definitely up there in the top tier...but I've been saying that for a while. People will only focus on unlucky situations with Argentina though.

I think the question we should ask ourselves is, how many teams would he not improve right now? Barca, Madrid and Bayern aside I think he could provide a bump to just about anyone else. Surely that's the mark of an elite player?

I can't *bleep* believe we didn't sign him when he was leaving Madrid. Or last summer when we were replacing Suarez. Or this summer instead of Benteke.

Oh and to rub more salt, he is definitely better than Cavani. Hala being vindicated nicely.

The biggest issue for Higuain at Madrid was Ronaldo and rotation it seems. Now he is free at Napoli and has performed domestically and continentally. Even Nationally he has done well for the most part outside of a couple unlucky instances.

Bring him in Klopp.

Well Higuains first two seasons at Napoli were nothing special, it's only now that he raised up the level of his play. Ill accept Higgy as an elite striker if he performs on this level in the last 6-7 weeks of the season, not now when the stakes are low.

What do you mean? Didn't they win a couple of historic trophies (one over Juventus no less where Higuain scored two goals)? Higuain was arguably the best player in the group when Napoli was in the CL against Arsenal and Dortmund, and was team of the tournament for the Europa last year.

He was on the same level as Benzema and Lewandowski in terms of production last year also:

He came up big in some big games, and not so much in some others, but his first two seasons were definitely still at a very high level.

Even though Higuain is playing really good, Cavani was far better for Napoli.

Higuain's issue is that he chokes in every single big occasion for club and country...  Whenever it counts the most.  He never had a good game against big teams at Madrid either. Playing great and missing a critical pk at the end is not being clutch in case some think so lol.

As a result, NT dropped him recently and Madrid pushed him out.

That's a rep he will never be able to shake at this point.  It has been a constant in his career.
