i think that putting this new crop of players along with some experienced ones was a good move, but it was an obvious REFRESH needed. i dont like menezes, but i dont think his job is REALLY on the line.

i would really sack batista though.

Now he can make these necessary changes. This is his first tourney and he was experimenting. Now that he knows what he can work with and what he can't work with. his job will finally REALLY start to roll.

He never meant to win it. I still think Menezes has the right idea, he brough a group of kids he only wanted them to get experience, and if they win all the better. He should not be sacked.

idk what we really lose in not winning this tourney tbh. It was a win-win situation. we win - "Oh you won, congrats" you lose - "Welp, we can learn from this, and get ready for Confed Cup since we host it"
