This. He was worse than average, pretty much his only good move was the assist for Hulk which came too late anyways.

I saw one mistake in defense when he had a heavy first touch and fouled someone.

Out of position?- Not that much, but it didn't cost them anything.

Thought going forward he was probably their best player.

Hulk was miles better going forward, as was Lucas.

Marcelo didn't cost them a goal but did give away the free kick that lead to the second goal because he was out of position.

that foul was absolute bullshit,there was no foul and if someone got fouled it was marcelo,just check the replays.Marcelo was fantastic in these Olympics imo.

unfortunately we had some absolute crap players in the back bar him and ts

Lucas played 8 minutes total ...what the hell man? and don't even pull he was better in those 8 minutes crap.....Marcelo made some legit moves going forward.

Hulk woke up in the last 5 mins, but his pass was better than the goal itself.

I didn't really notice that he gave away that foul TBH .

he still gave it away. I had no idea what they were on about at the time. Didn't see anything wrong with it. Then TS was caught napping and they scored.

Marcelo was crap in the final though.

The foul was unfair since it was Marcelo himself that got fouled.

Marcelo was ok this final. Not really a stand out, but he wasn't crap either like Kick is implying he was.

Menezes should have gotten the sack as soon as his call ups were first shown tbh

Whole Brazillian defense was awful, Marcelo was a part of that...
