On topic, is there a limit to how many thumbs up people this site finds acceptable? Because I'm thumbing up everyone but the site doesn't register most of it. It's as if it does not want to witness, let alone record, this kind of love fest.

Just like the Economic fact that the currency in market should be proportional with the goods and services manufactured in a economy, otherwise it leads to decrease in value of currency leading to inflation, the amount of positive votes on this site should be proportional to the good posts. If you go on distributing positive votes without it being backed by good posts by other posters the whole balance of GL will be disrupted leading anarchy. Thus the great minds of our age aka Admins have created the system which acts as the central bank which buffers all such actions and maintains the optimum ratio of positive votes and good posts.

Right now, i would say yes he is the best player in the team. And he has become that because he stopped chasing after Ronaldo's shadow. He is his own guy, shifting the gears of our offense, and just thinking about making a difference for the team as opposed to scoring

Not sure what you are watching, Bale actually "move the chains", he leads, and thinks about creating for others. Goalscoring is not the only way you can impact a team's offense, and Bale is doing exactly that.

The season just started and that was last season too early to say CR doesn't carry anymore even though right now he isn't.

Bale isn't doing much, his crosses right now leads to nowhere, yes he has alot of touches and yes he looks fancy, but he is getting the ball nowhere. Isco today is a better example of a big impact without goals. Bale isn't doign that right now

Bale is in the best form of the three, benz still a bit off needs couple more games and cr is just in bad form or tired.

Bale this season has been great imo. Even though Zidane gets a lot of sh*t for tactics resulting in crossing- Bale maybe the perfect player as he is great in the air and is an excellent crosser of the ball.

Was unlucky not to get the penalty call, though I didn't get a chance to rewatch the sequence

I agree with this. I like the fact that he is getting more engaged in our build up as opposed to taking pot shots from afar. This has not only made him a better player than before but he is building excellent chemistries with our players. He looks alot happier too settling in with his teammates etc. He is going to be an excellent leader when Ronaldo retires

That's my point. He hasn't carried Madrid to jack shit. One good game last year against a mediocre German team and flopped against every good team he has played against. He is a luxury player.
