vanDEEZ wrote:Has been pretty exciting so far. Would be winning if Benzema extended his leg a milimeter on 1 of the 2 sitters he had.
Navas has been great, Casemiro pretty good, Isco pretty good, Benzema did well in one chance but has been an out of shape traffic cone the other 44 minutes
Benzema gave up 2 metres before the ball arrived. Hate his effort every game... If he actually wanted to, he could've scored.
Bale is his usual self also.

been a while since ive seen us concede from a corner.
edit: scored on by the mighty raheem sterling...
having a 3 match advantage is this much the difference? then again we always start late.
no concerns. fitness is the name of the game.

I don't understand not playing the backups when it's obvious the starters don't give a shit

Carvajal has been ruined by Danilo this game.

So by feeling the pinch, I clearly meant being roflstomped by City in the 2nd half. Obviously. Duh. Did not think we could out do the 1st half performance against Utd but we did. In a big way. Sigh, totally not worth the sleep I just lost.

Lovely football from the u21 players. If they had a competent striker ahead of them we would've scored more goals. They've only been back fora week yet look fitter than the first team
Turok you were looking for Benz 2.0 you have him in Mayoral

It'd a massive disappointment if we sold morata without getting mbappe.

Mayoral played exactly like the living embodiment of saggy toast. I have no idea what happened to him but this club has to be joking if they are gonna a season with him as the alternative to Bale or Benzema.

Re: 2017/2018 - Real Madrid Offseason Discussion
After 6 years I finally got to see us play live in person again today, awesome experience. Stadium was packed with like 93k ppl, almost all madridistas.
Funny story, since I was running late and the streets were a meltdown, I had to park farther than expected and sprint a couple of blocks to make it in time. I was so gassed my right ear was popped for the whole 1st half.
Isco and Marcelo, got everyone excited, and llorente looked like a boss out there to me. He and Ceballos are the 2 I'm most excited about.

Marcos llorente was amaaazing! I hope he matches casemiro's positioning and tackling
He is 100 times better on the ball than casemiro. Its annoying how no one made individual highlights of his U21 performance. Anyone with a link, pls share
Ceballos was also amazing. Ceballos' dribbling is on Isco's level.
The way they both wriggled their way out of challenges. Omg! I hope they get enuf chances.
Can't wait for a llorente kroos/modric ceballos isco asensio combo. Ronaldo would eat assists for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Glad to see Madrid actually take this preseason game serious and not be all half arsed about it.

Re: 2017/2018 - Real Madrid Offseason Discussion
technically we were so poor, guys just not running and putting in the effort to get back in position. Marcelo is basically just playing winger here
as much as i understand it's preseason, it's been 3 weeks now and they are not exactly getting in better shape.
but then again, first competitive game and this team will destroy someone, so... pinch of salt i guess
Bale is useless though, poor movements, poor technique and he looks slower than before. hope we sell this scrub

Re: 2017/2018 - Real Madrid Offseason Discussion
We don't have anyone dynamic on the attack. That's what's missing.
On defense.... well, Ramos is being Ramos. Marcelo is being Marcelo. Carvajal isn't quite ready yet. Kovacic defends worse than Kroos. etc.

That's supposed to be Bale and Asensio, but Bale is not doing that at all, he walkssportsczy wrote:We don't have anyone dynamic on the attack. That's what's missing.

Asensio is very dynamic btw. If we get Mbappe, I think our best trio up front could be Mbappe-Asensio-CR.

Re: 2017/2018 - Real Madrid Offseason Discussion
Talking about honesty and lied about us over hyping Lucas Silva. Pls.
As for our dynamism, well, Benzema is doing Benzema things (not a knock at him, he actually is trying, good for him). Bale can't even run properly far less play football well enough. So it's Marcelo, Asensio and sometimes Modric.
Not exactly sure if it would have been different if that dork was in the line up (CR).

no it would not be much different, although because it's barca he would be a lot more competitive than Bale is being.
