Bale has great stats, he is very effective, but don't push it bc he is a madrid player Z. Reus is plainly better. I am not denying his qualities, wonderful athlete, great finisher and all that, can win games with flashes, but as a football player, Reus is better than him, and he has that game winning streak as well, so it's not even like Bale has a dominant comparative advantage.

Oh and please don't talk about injuries here. Reus actually gets injured because assholes are mauling him on the pitch. He doesn't get an ass injury in training and can't play for 2 weeks.

I'll be honest I didn't really read this because I consider a lot of it moot.

For starters Reus will have to prove he's not injury prone from now on. Second I guarantee you BVB wouldn't be bottom of the table if they had Bale, because he is a match winner. A player that can make a shite club like Spurs look legitimate and can help Madrid win trophies like the CL or a Copa against Barca in the final in elite imo.

People need to learn to see the Forrest from the trees. The second Bale stops contributing to winning teams I might consider doubts about his quality but that isn't even on the table right now.

It's like all you think there is to the game is looking pretty on the ball and accurate passing. Gareth Bale represents a threat that the other team has to be on 100% of the game because if you take your foot off the gas on him for that 1% he can score or create a goal for someone else. He's a player that other teams hate to play against because he's balls to the wall all the time running down your throat, and the fact that you constant berate his technical ability when it is at such a high level...lol...

There's a reason RM paid what they did for Bale, and it wasn't because of the shirt sales. Is it really a big surprise the season after getting him they won the Decima and Copa and were what...3 points out from the title while the team struggled for consistency?

Teams hate playing against Bale because he can burn you in many different ways. Just like they hate playing against Ronaldo. Players like those two open up so much space for your heralds like Benzema, James and Kroos it's unreal. But like was said above...you guys can't appreciate the forest for its trees. The funniest thing about it being that Benzema and Ronaldo were dispossessed more than Bale and Ronaldo, Benzema and Di Maria had more giveaways than Bale last season. hmm

I won't even get started on their off-the-ball contributions.

You lots are too stubborn. As always when you say someonr is better than the other the assumption is that you are calling the other crap.

Bale is a great player. I know his qualities well. Yet for all that he is Reus is a better player. Its just that simple to me and he can be just as nasty a vertical threat, while being a player that superior within the context of the team, as opposed to waiting for single flashes to be relevant.

If bale is 90 reus is 100. Now he has gotten a bad year with injuries and you lots act like he has not proven anything in the past 3 years lol.

I think so, they'll have him under contract, so they can do whatever they want with him. It's like having a big squad and only registering 25 for the UCL or local cup competition, etc..

The second being the basis for the first? I could imagine that to loan out a player he first has to be officially signed as a player of your club too?
Anyone knows specifics?
