He obviously didn't say any of that, as he didn't comment at all, neither does anyone know what he wants or wanted.

What we know is that he had a cheap release clause and that he had an offer from Real that was much higher than the extension he signed at BVB (which still makes him by far top earner there).

Great and wise decision by him, brilliant for BVB as a signal, as the doubts over Reus were nagging all season.
