im not arguing. I asked you a question. when ever I saw AM play in big games they played more like Chelsea than thay did barca. so I asked if yu had all the play. and thay parked the bus.Mr Nick09 wrote:u barely watch la liga, still amazes me people still having football arguments with u on these topicsMR BOND wrote:I take it atletico parked the bus. and Ronaldo had about 30 shots and didn't score.Mr Nick09 wrote:

Madrid won't win anything until they get rid of the cancer that rots the left wing.

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
tbh. it does seem that people other than the manager has a input into picking the team.sportsczy wrote:Accommodating Bale while sacrificing Benzema, Isco and James did him in imo. We were playing beautiful footy. Then Bale came back and he moved 3 of our top performers around to make room for him.... those 3 were still good mostly (until Isco and Benz got burnt out) but nowhere the godly level they were at before.
I never understood that. If the team is playing at god level, you don't change the ENTIRE SYSTEM to accommodate a player who isn't even anywhere near as talented as those 3.
He stuck with the failed system in the face of the obvious, which was even worse.

Rafa because he is a kid from home, has been at the club, perez has wanted him before, and he speaks spanish.
Perez in his conference hinted that "it would be nice if the new manager speaks castellano"
unless he is throwing us off, he is right that it makes it easier for the team when majority speaks spanish to communicate ideas from day one, in the tone that you want. plus he speaks english for bale
Rafa is the sure thing imo, Klopp is too exotic and since Mou, Perez keeps going for the sure thing...

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
As Carlo Ancelotti is relieved of his duties at Real Madrid, we look back on the 11 managers who have tried and failed to hold down a regular spot in the Bernabeu dugout in the 21st century.
Ancelotti’s time is up after committing the ultimate sin – not winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey or Champions League this season. In the last 32 years, not one Real Madrid manager has earned another season having won nothing the previous.
Memories are short, and despite winning Real’s 10th Champions League crown last term, Ancelotti’s third personally, the failure to progress in 2014/15 has cost him.
He joins a high-profile club – the tenure of Miguel Munoz, who oversaw Real to nine La Liga titles, two European Cups and two Copa del Rey trophies from 1960 to 1974, is not just remembered for the trophy haul.
Over four decades on, and no Real Madrid manager since has held their post for longer than three-and-a-half years, let alone the 14 Munoz had in charge.
Vicente del Bosque was the last, winning the Champions League twice between November 1999 and June 2003 before Real decided against renewing his contract.
In the 41 years since Munoz left the club, the 31 full-time Real managers have lasted an average of one year and four months, or 70 games.
Here, we look at those last 11 full-time managers since 1999, their win percentages, and their honours list.
Vicente del Bosque – November 1999 to June 2003 (contract not renewed) – 233 games, 55 per cent won – Honours: 2 La LIga, 2 Champions League, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 1 Spanish Super Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup
Carlos Queiroz – June 2003 to May 2004 (sacked) – 59 games, 58 per cent won – Honours: 1 Spanish Super Cup
Jose Antonio Camacho – May 2004 to September 2004 (resigned) – 6 games, 67 per cent won – Honours: None.
Mariano Garcia Remon – September 2004 to December 2004 (demoted to coach) – 20 games, 60 per cent won – Honours: None.
Vanderlei Luxemburgo – December 2004 to December 2005 (sacked) – 45 games, 62 per cent won – Honours: None.
Juan Ramon Lopez Caro (caretaker) – December 2005 to June 2006 – 24 games, 50 per cent won – Honours: None.
Fabio Capello – July 2006 to June 2007 (sacked) – 50 games, 56 per cent won – Honours: 1 La Liga
Bernd Schuster – July 2007 to December 2008 (mutual agreement) – 75 games, 59 per cent won – Honours 1 La Liga, 1 Spanish Super Cup
Juande Ramos – December 2008 to June 2009 (end of contract) – 27 games, 67 per cent won – Honours: None.
Manuel Pellegrini – June 2009 to May 2010 (sacked) – 48 games, 75 per cent won – Honours: None.
Jose Mourinho – May 2010 to June 2013 (mutual agreement) – 178 games, 72 per cent won – Honours; 1 La Liga, 1 Copa del Rey, 1 Spanish Super Cup
Carlo Ancelotti – June 2013 to May 2015 (sacked) – 119 games, 75 per cent won – Honours: 1 Copa del Rey, 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 Copa del Rey.

Bigger thing is that Rafa likes the 4231... maybe he morphs it into a 4222. In either case, you need a workhorse B2B or DM. I also think it means that one of Bale, Ronaldo or Benzema will get sold either this summer or over the winter (whoever is benched). There's no way you will see BBC imo.

Rafa and Carlo play ENTIRELY different systems... just night and day. Rafa is much close to Mou in the way he plays. Less defensive (although still defensive) but the same shape.

he was first asked the reasons why carlo was being sacked, and he said he did not want to discuss them at the moment.
then shortly after, the same question to which he answered "i dont know"
...Context
he was never going to say something bad about carlo in that interview

Real Madrid have terminated the contract of manager Carlo Ancelotti after two seasons in charge.
Club president Florentino Perez announced the decision in a press conference on Monday as the popular Italian paid the price for a trophyless season at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I would like to inform you that the board has taken the decision to relieve Carlo Ancelotti of his post as Real Madrid coach," Perez said. "It was a very difficult decision to make; the demands at this club are the utmost because Madrid always wants to win silverware.
"The affection that the players and the fans have for Carlo is the same as the affection I myself have for him.
"What did Ancelotti do wrong? I don't know. The demands here at Real Madrid are very high."

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
Bond, you truly need to wait a few minutes before commenting.
"What went wrong?" was the question you mistakingly took for another one, and to which Florentino responded “I don’t know; I don’t want to enter into details. Now is not the right moment. I will dedicate time to other matters”.
It seems that you've developed a habit of facepalming yourself every time you chance upon something to your liking.
