Re: Ancelotti's next gig
Dont know what made you think he'll go to Roma though (despite his Romanista roots)
He'll obviously go to a team who'll guarantee significant investments on the market.I mean he's just won the CL a yr ago and i'm sure he's looking to add more to his CV.He's still only in his early-mid fifties afterall.
Also there's no way he'll manage another National team other than the Italian one.

Frankly, I think Roma would be the best move for his legacy.
City might guarantee a shot at the CL, but they won't win despite their best efforts, simply because they neither have the players nor the attraction to get the players. Also, they are no longer top dog in the PL, and I suspect both Chelsea and United to be the contenders for the next 4 years (mostly Chelsea).
So why go to a club where you can neither become an iconic manager or win enough silverware.
As for Roma, he doesn't need to actually win anything to get enough recognition, and if he manages to do so, it would be huge. Currently, its a malleable project that he could stamp his influence on, and they can contend for Serie A while being huge underdogs in the CL.
He can be successful in some clubs, but in Roma, he can become legendary.

Can't wait 'til we find out that we have first priority over Verratti due to a clause in the Ibrasilva transfer

Sky reports that Ancelotti wishes to take a break next season. Galliani will try one last attempt at bringing him back to Milan.

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
Clearly Carlo is taking the year off because he hopes Pep doesn't extend his contract beyond 2016.
Smart move tbh. He's gambling on the chance to be able to take over Bayern, but in the likely case Pep continues he can go to Man Utd at some point next season.

Seems like it.And would be a wise move too as there probably would be better job openings next yr.

Would rather have Robes as manager rather than Brocchi, would do a better job imo

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
You don't win a trophy (CDR, La Liga and CL being the only legit trophies)... you don't survive at Real Madrid unless it's your first year and the club has shown progress (and that's not even certain). Simple as that and it's understandable. Every coach who comes here knows this or they're just fooling themselves.
