Is it too much to hope for a fair league? Hope in my lifetime I can see one season where referees don't offer Madrid extra help to finish 2nd

It was ball to hand, completely unintentional, so should not be penalty in any case. And I always maintain that regardless of opponents. Neymar goal was off side but was very very close and hard to pin point with human eyes.
None the less all good as Barca was cearly better team.

. Handballs are rarely intentional btw Laughing

Pique's arm wasn't in an entirely natural position and was clearly in the ball's trajectory .

it isn't Flagrant nor is the call controversial ,but referees have given penalties for way less than this .

I'm not saying Barça was favored by the ref, but if there is some big conspiracy against them like you guys claim on a weekly basis , then The penalty would've been given , and the third and fourth goal would've been ruled off side without anyone batting an eye . Laughing

There is no conspiracy from real madrid. But i have notice most of the referee in spain favour real madrid on 50/50 call against Barcelona. On the other hand in UCL it is fair call for both side.

It's not only referees they are buying.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez's pressure meant that Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets didn't appear on the list for the Ballon d'Or.

Since January 2012, Perez has been a member of the committee in charge of deciding which 23 players make the shortlist for the coveted prize.

He is the only Spaniard on the committee and also the only club president.

And it seems his role on the said committee is to move pieces around in a bid to try and maximise Madrid's presence on the list... while also minimising Barça's.

This is what occurred last year, anyway, when Perez made sure Busquets wasn't granted a place on the 23-man list which was made public in October, as reported by 'Superdeporte'.

If you watch a replay of the Pique handball from that angle as well it shows that he moves his arm out a bit just before the ball gets there. It may have even been intentional -- or at least a reflexive movement to obstruct the ball.
