from what i could find, players are taxed about 45-47% on their income, so that gross income in pounds would be around £483k/w

No im not sure that it's net, because it's not specified as so for now. I am going for the assumption that it's a net amount because he was earning over 15 millions euros net at PSG.

Ibra is gonna be 35 soon but the way he plays he can continue to deliver goals for a good while. That's allot of money though

He would be getting 2 to 3 year deals for big money in MLS, China and even some other clubs in Europe. Since he's only signing a 1 year deal, they're basically including a buyout for those additional years he's foregoing to come to Man U and adding that number into the wage bill... So Nick could very well be right.

None right now in the pl come close to his superstar status so its a good marketing move in that respect with the money being proportionate to his marketability.
100% he is earning atleast 10-12M net salary.Its probably much higher close to the figure Nick mentioned.
