La la land is one of those rare films you go into cinema halls with a bucketload of expectations and then you come back out of it with that bucket still full and buzzing. Smile

I need to watch Moonlight, Nocturnal Animals and Fences as well. Dont know where I will tho. Sad

Don't watch Godfather 3 lol, i mean it's not as awful as most people say but you'll still better off pretending that it ends after 2 imo.

L.A Confidential (1997)

Great film. Loved Kevin Spacey and was pissed he was the one who died ffs. But it had to be done for the plot.

Ed was annoying af half the film. Bud was very good.

Had to drive an hour there and back to go see La La Land but it was so worth

Incredible movie, probs better than Arrival imo and the best of the year that I've seen. I don't like to compare across genres much though. Just enjoy both. La La Land is absolutely fantastic.

I don't think I'm much of a pure action movie fan either. Watching The Raid atm and the plot is pretty weak. With pure action and horror movies it's all bam bam, in your face stuff. But with the action taking precedence over the plot, you don't really care about what's going to happen next, aka there's minimal suspense. Same problem I had with Mad Max Fury Road.

there is movie on netflix called 'Circle' I am not sure if you'll like it but it has an interesting plot and is suspenseful. Check that out.
