i may be wrong but i thought that the buying team has to agree a transfer fee with the selling team before they can talk to the player. if they just talk to the player isn't that tapping up.

I dont know who owns them but Times and Guardian are the most reliable when it comes to transfer rumours in England . They are generally considered credible source not sure what u are basing this o but certainly not anywhere close to sun Mail or Mirror .

they are owned by news international which owns the sun, news of the world and the times. i used to work for news international. the sun gets so much negativity on here and the times and sun are the same newspaper aimed at different audiences
