BVB - Transfer rumours/discussions

Dortmund have many youngsters who are very promising (Leitner, Bittencourt, Amini, Hofmann) but neither is really in Götze's calibre yet (and probably will never be).

If Dortmund want to continue to be title challengers they will sign someone for the same money just as they did with Kagawa and Reus. Same with Lewandowski. The other youngsters will continue to grow under Klopp as he'll not let them without game-time.

30m+ for Lewandowski plus 37m for Götze so yeah close to 70m will be the total sum for Lewandowski and Götze.

Got a question here since not expert on Dortmund, but do u guys have a youth system setup producing good level young players to the first team? Are most of your players today in the first team developed in house or bought?

And what are the plans to replace all the stars that are outgoing? Will Reus leave as well?

Good move. I think Kloppo is working well on setting up Dortmund nicely to work around Mario Götze's loss.

I just read in transfermarkt.de that info on the BILD app (which one has to subscribe to for a fee) has it that Kevin de Bruyne told his Werder team mates he'd be playing for Dortmund the next season. Sounds not bad at all, that.

Would they really buy KDB, Bernard and Eriksen? seems a bit overkill.

I think they are just covering all bases in case something doesn't work out.

Not to mention they would still need a CF as none of those players can play there.

Seems to me like it's more of a target list of players. If one doesn't happen they'll go for the other. Now I don't know exactly which is their number 1 target.

KdB is definitely coming + one of Bernard/Eriksen.

Great! Kuba is a very important player for the BVB.

By the way, with Dortund's current activities in scouting / transfer negotiations, it looks as if they are determined to keep the strength of their squad more or less intact. And with Kloppo's knack in finding the right players and developing youngsters, things look not half as bad as when Götze's and Lewandowski's transfers were first coming into the open.

Reus has a release clause of €35mio which can be activated in 2015.

Also no offers have arrived for Lewandowski (yesterday was deadline-day set by Watzke) which means Lewandowski will most likely be at Dortmund for another season.

Well, the Erikson rumours thicken in the German media, too.

According to Zorc: KDB wants to join Dortmund and there has been no contact with Erikson.

Well, for KDB a move to Dortmund would be probably sensible as he'd get more playing time and would thus increase his chances to start for Belgium in the World Cup.

Well, the German media quote Gazetta dello Sport on Miralem Pjanic, so there is no real info other than that from Italy available atm.

Kicker informed us that BVB aren't interested in Pjanic.

Zorc says 3 really good players will come, 2 midfielders and a striker. It is believed Mkhtirayan is the first.

Well, in the case of Bayern it is quite easy: They are a renowned club in the Bundesliga and they pay very well.
