Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move

There are many ways the 60 mill can be paid though sport and that's not even mentioning the possibility of a loan with a compulsory buy out next season

Any of thise teams can afford 60 divided in say 3/4 seasons which happens alot. If Falcao really really wants to leave he will have no problem lowering his wages to make a move possible imo

We might not have the luxury of a sugar daddy pumping money into the club because it's incapable of making any on its own

However we're not broke and we could obviously afford 60M over installments if Monaco accept that

Monaco want 12 mil now and the remaining 48 next summer with an auto purchase option. That's the demand. Maybe you get them to do it in 12 and then two payments... but then the price goes up due to time value of money. Probably two payment of 27 mil instead of 48 all at once.

Big issue is 10 mil net. Falcao is not going to take a 70% pay cut to get you at 6 mil gross

In any case, if he starts tomorrow, he's not going anywhere...

so according to di marzio, monaco whan 12 mil for the loan and they wont pay a dime for the wages. so that's 12 mil + 14 mil net. so assuming the tax in your country is 50% roughly, that's 28 mil gross. So total, 40 mil to rent Falcao for a year

Utter lunacy. That's the sort of moolah that would make even the sheikhs gasp with surprise

I think Falcao is the 4th highest paid player in football, behind CR, Messi, and Ibra. Monaco pay no tax on wages so they dont care (technically, they pay 50 mil for everyone, soon they will pay 25 mil, and the city will pay the rest).

Best solution is to ask Falcao to reduce his wages down to around 10 mil net or so, and even that's expensive.

We've just invested 345 million tis year in a new buuilding  project starting from September name me a club that has done that this year?

I would consider Agnelli crazy if we sign Falcao with that salary, a player who is coming back from nasty injury, almost 30 and who is owned and blackmailed by his agent.

The entire move to anywhere is mostly up to Falcao

Monaco are obviously willing to sell, and they aren't even asking a fee that will scare people away

It's up to Falcao, and imo he'll take a reasonable pay cut. If he was thinking only about money he'd just stay exactly where he is.

You didn't invest.  You STARTED a new building project of 345 million.  Of that, only 10-20% is cash.... the rest is debt. It's only a capital outlay of 70 mil max.

That's how ALL construction is financed, so it's no big deal.  But dont go throwing it out there that Juve are investing 345 million from their pockets  It's like people saying Madrid are investing in a 500 million Bernabeu renovation when they're going to have JP Morgan lend them 85% of it...  but at least most Madrid fans know that.

David Amoyal who translates di marzio work in english is saying that the wages are a big reason why Juventus are dropping out, since Monaco refuse to pay any of it.

Like I said earlier this Move is entirely dependent on Falcao and how much money means to him compared to how much he wants a move

If money was easily his priority, he'll happily stay

If he feels he's cashed in enough, and desperately wants away he'll accept a fair cut

But it's probably in the middle ground I.E he's willing to sacrifice a bit, but still not enough for any clubs bar the usual suspects to want him
