Calm down. They've been playing together for 4 months.

Henry-Eto'o-Messi is still Barca's best offensive trio I've seen.

It would be difficult to imagine a better attacking 3 on the same team than Messi, Suarez and Neymar especially if they are all playing at the top of their game.

I dont care about all time but they are definitely for now. I will accept that they are really on a way of being so called a "trio" when they win something this season, any of La Liga and CL would convince me !

I think they're much better than that Messi Eto'o Henry. Messi has improved a lot in these 7 years, Neymar is more suited to that LW role and I guess Suarez is there with Eto'o, plus they have better understanding and combinations with each other

Well Messi-Eto'o-Henry scored a combined 100 goals in all competitions between the 3 of them and won the treble in their best season together.

MSN need to win the treble and beat or come close to the 100 goals mark to be considered better imo.

Currently they have 91 goals combined so they are gonna beat the goal tally for sure. It really comes down to winning trophies.

In terms of gameplay semantics and understanding each otehr, they fit together much better already.

I'm not so sure they fit better together, that trio was immaculate in terms of fit. I think the main difference is that Messi is miles better now and part of the reason that front 3 was so good was because of Xaviesta who were ridiculous that year.

very flawed logic, a front three doesn't guarantee trophies let alone a perfect season.

in 09 we had prime xavi and iniesta, toure and up and coming buscuit in the midfield.
prime puyol/dani alves and one of pique's best season coming up.

I'm a big Eto'o fan but he is not better than Suarez. He was faster and quicker, and with even a greater hunger, but in everything else, Suarez beats him.
